Prescription Xenical Drug Information
The normal prescription of Xenical is for 120-mg, to be taken by mouth three times a day with liquids. It needs to be taken at each of the main meals of the day, which also need to be low in fat.
These meals need to be regulated. You need to divide your carbohydrates, protein and fat evenly between each of the meals. And each meal should contain no more than 30% of its calories from fat.
Each dose of Xenical can be taken somewhere within an hour of eating each meal. If you skip a meal, or if you eat a meal that has no fat, you can choose to skip that particular dose of Xenical. Taking more than the 120-mg of Xenical has not been shown to help you lose more weight, and so we generally discourage taking any more than prescribed.
